Life catches up to us sometimes. It's hard to always stay ahead of the everyday in & outs. Here is a small update on what has happened since the last time I was on here...

Kaylee's First Birthday.. That was kind of a big deal not only here but on the West Coast!!!

After a wonderful Birthday at the park we needed to get packing because in less than a week we were headed to California! We were all very blessed to be headed to California to spend Easter with RJ's wonderful family on the West Coast.

As the Year comes to a close..... 

It's a Celebration and a Graduation!  

I just can't believe that we did it, our family has grown in so many different ways. As the future unfolds to a new chapter I will begin to reflect back on this year that flew by.

One of our many struggles to put Jammies on  after bath time, sometimes end up with baby spending a lot of time naked due to her new found freedom.

Valentine's Day and Standing Around!

This coming Friday Kaylee will have her first Valentine's Day Party with her home care group. Mrs. Luz gave me some things to make Kaylee's box. I'm going to her Valentine's Day Party to watch her get all her Valentines from her friends! She (maybe more me??!!) is so excited, I will have my camera in hand of course.. Stay tuned for the V.D. KayKay has hit another exciting mile stone, she may not know it yet but she is standing on her own. I noticed her standing briefly a couple times, she had no idea she was doing it all by herself. I'm pretty sure she will be running soon. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. Below are pictures of her, as she shows off her new Hello Kitty hat Grandma Rose got for her today.

Turning one & Teeth

It is almost that time.. The first Birthday!! I remember telling myself 'I'm going to keep it simple'. We are still not sure about a location. I want to have it at the park but this Texas weather always keeps you guessing so we will see. Kaylee is in love with DJ Lance Rock and his Gabba Gabba crew, so it is only fitting to go with a YO GABBA GABBA theme!!  This birthday not only means Baby Girls is hitting a major mile stone but Mommy and Daddy made it through the first year together.


Miss. KayKay is starting the famous "teething stage". When I first noticed her little tooth making its appearance we were on our way to GiGi's house in Houston. I was sitting in the back seat with her and RJ was driving, he wanted to see too so I grabbed the camera and starting snapping pictures.
